David S. Koch

ORMOND, BEACH, FL: David S. Koch, 59, of Ormond Beach, FL died Friday afternoon, Jan. 25, 2013 in his home following a three year illness. David was born July 8, 1953 in Ashland and was the son of the late William and Wava L. (Snyder) Koch. He was a 1971 graduate of Loudonville High School, he received his diploma in computer repair and electronics from Seminole Community College in Sanford, Florida and a diploma in electronics from Florida Technical College in Orlando. David was a project manager, installer, and site supervisor for laser-based barcode scanning systems for PSC Inc., Orlando, Florida. For Alcon Laboratories, he was a technical support specialist and territory manager, working with customer and field service engineers, as well as developing and delivering service training programs for field service personnel for refractive eye surgery laser systems. He had been a resident of Florida for many years moving to Westbrook, CT for four years before returning to Florida in 2011. David enjoyed golfing, barbeque grilling, watching football and baseball, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Regina) Koch; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law: James (Jane) Koch of Norwalk, Lary Koch and Robert (Linda) Koch, all of Loudonville; 1 sister and brother-in-law: Shirley (Bud) Watters of Spring Hill, TN; 2 brothers-in-law: Alfred (Janet) Regina of Oakdale, CT, and Bob (Jackie) Regina of Newington, CT; 1 sister-in-law: Pat (Gary) Sigman of Arlington, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 9 at 2:00 PM in LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE with Rev. Scott Henderson of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call Sat., Feb. 9th from 12:00 noon until time of services at 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
