Travis Krogh Obituary

Travis Krogh
May 26 1986-Sept 30, 2015
Oakland, Ca
The family and friends of Travis Greenough Krogh mourn his tragic passing on September 30th at the age of 29. Travis will be remembered as charismatic and handsome; he lit up a room with his smile, dimples and personality. He exuded confidence with his style, swagger, and love of clothing. Travis had a special sense of humor and brought life, energy, fun, and laughter wherever he went. He was like a brother to his cousins and brought special meaning to all who knew him. Travis was creative, loved people and animals, threw himself wholly into whatever endeavor he chose at the time. He lived his life fully and without reservation.
Born on May 26, 1986, Travis was a bright, happy boy, speaking French with his maternal Grandmere as naturally as English. He was close with his entire family and enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, BMX, playing baseball and lacrosse. Travis was raised in Oakland, attended the French-American School and The Hyde boarding school. He attended college at Cabrillo and Columbia Junior College, studying horticulture and sustainable landscaping. After a motorcycle accident 4 years ago, he struggled to find his way and overcome his challenges.
Travis is survived by his two daughters, Alexis and Charleigh Krogh, and their mother, Jamie Oudeboon of Fort Worth, Texas; his parents, Elizabeth McKenzie and her husband, Garth Leerer of Oakland; Charles Krogh and wife Ellen Duenow of San Rafael; his step-siblings: Scott Duenow and Lucie Leerer.
Travis left us too soon. His spirit, humor, and laugh will long linger in our hearts. He touched so many people in his short time here and memories of him will remain with us forever.
Goodbye Travis, we all love you and miss you dearly.
A private memorial is scheduled to pay tribute to Travis.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Travis to NAMI (www.nami.org ).

Such a great kid. I always remember him in his burgundy colored velvet jacket when he was a teenager. Such a loss. We are truly saddened by this tragic news.
