Ward Hayter Obituary
Ward Hayter 1948-2018 Ward Hayter passed on July 23rd of natural causes. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Trisha Hayter, his sons Jim and William Hayter, and Keith Hayter his grandson. Also many other close relatives. Ward was devoted to service. He worked in law enforcement, which was so much more to him than a career. His career began at The San Rafael Police Department, there he was on the Swat Team, Pistol Team and finished there with the rank of Sergeant He went on to Redwood City P.D. and retired at The Marin County Sheriff's Dept. as a Communication Manager. Ward was a devout Christian, loyal friend and was loved by those he knew. Services will be private and his resting place will be Mt. Olivet Cemetery. He left the world a better place and left us all too soon. There is a hole in the hearts of his family that will never be filled. A better husband, father and grandfather would be hard to find. Rest in peace Ward, receiving the Lord's love and care, the love and care you gave so freely to all knew.
