Every time I'd return to visit Galion after high school I would remind my friend Dick what a "prince" he was considering the family 's multiple business and just how lucky, lucky, he was. So again it is so sad to me that he's gone and then there's the total number of our fellow classmates/close relationships are all but gone to soon. God Bless you brother . We were saddened to learn of Dick's passing. I remember him well at Allen's Pond....I was new in town & had never ice skated & he was all over the place!!! He was like the wind on the ice. We did see him 3 years ago & enjoyed his company. He will be missed. Our condolences to the family, Dan and Patricia Everly

From K-12 and way beyond, Dick was and always will be my friend. Mary Ann K was correct, the glint of sunshine off his glasses was out shone by his gleaming ready smile. Dick was (to me) the epitome of work hard (Very Hard) and play hard.
I feel sorely for his family's loss.

Dear Maison Family
So sorry to learn about Dick. His great smile is what came to mind first. So many great memories of the neighborhood growing up skating on the ponds, playing baseball in the back yard, riding skate boards down Loggin's drive and the neighborhood Halloween walks and parties. He will be missed.

I am so sorry to learn of Dick's passing. For the first 12 years of our lives our backyards connected as did our lives all through school. I was lucky to see Dick about 3 years ago while I was in Galion and had a great time. I will miss Dick.

My heartfelt condolenses to all of the Maison Family at your time of loss.
Many of us knew that wonderful grin and that cocky sense of humor that would always make you chuckle. And many of us knew the deeper side that held all his dreams and passions and his sense of adventure.
Dick to you I say:
May you be as free as the wind?;
As soft as sheeps wool?;
As straight as an arrow? and that you may journey into
the heart of God.
