KENTON: Harold S. "Timmer" Gray, age 75 of Kenton, OH passed away at his home peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 3:10 p.m.

He was born February 14, 1939, the son of the late Pearle and Bernice (Price) Gray. On April 6, 2004, he married Virginia (Johnston) and she survives in Kenton.

Harold is survived by his children, DeWayne (Cheryl) Gray of Dublin, OH, Dale Gray of Delaware, OH, and Denise Gray of Kenton; grandchildren Austin Gray, Lucinda Gray, and Steven Gray; a sister Sandra Keller of Lima, OH; step-children, Ninette (Michael) Weatherhead of Marion, OH, Amy (Duane) Brown of Kenton, and Darin Oldham of Troy, OH; step- grandchildren, Erica (Don) Dye, Reid Weatherhead, Haylie Sheldon, Amber Brown, and Adam; step-great grandchild, Xander Dye; step-mother, Blanche of Rushsylvania, OH; half-sisters, Wanita Lorig and Glenna Case; half-brothers Boyd Case and Greg Case; and step-brothers, Eddie Case and Clarence Case. He was preceded in death by his half-brother, Denny Case and half-sister,Nancy Case.

He was retired working as a Laborer at Tecumseh Products in Marion, OH and the Head Maintenance Supervisor for Elgin Schools. Harold graduated from Kenton Senior High School in 1957. He was a member of the Kenton Moose Family Center #428, the VFW Post #7201 in Marion, and the Silver Creek United Methodist Church. Harold was an avid motorcycle rider.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Harold S. Gray will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Silver Creek United Methodist Church with Pastor Mark Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. Sunday March 2, 2014 prior to the service. SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME will be conducting the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Silver Creek United Methodist Church and/or Hardin County Hospice.
