Howard F. Kuse, age 90 of Marshfield, entered eternal life Tuesday evening, April 16, 2013, with his family at his side. He was a patient at St Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Marshfield. The Rev. Chris Schwanz and Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Marshfield, with Howard's grandchildren, Paul Kuse, Laurel Heintz, Jeremiah Hagen, Rebekah Smith, Dr. Andrew Hennlich, Michael Hennlich, Jason Steinwagner, Natalie Wright, and Faith Steinwagner, serving as pallbearers. A time of visitation will be held from 4-8:00PM Friday at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield and also one hour prior to service time at the church on Saturday.

Mr. Kuse was born August 5, 1922 in the town of Cameron, Wood County. The son of Fred and Anna (Singstock) Kuse. He attended Cameron's Pride School and graduated Marshfield Senior High School in 1940. He attended Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato, MN.

Howard was united in holy matrimony to Beverly A. Parks on August 17, 1946 at Trinity Lutheran Church in the town of Richfield. The couple celebrated 66 years of marriage.

Howard and Beverly took over the family farm, in the town of Cameron until 1969 when they moved to Shawano, Wisconsin. Here Howard was a feed consultant for Purina and Nutrena Feeds. In 1978 the couple moved to Marshfield where Howard sold insurance for Aid Association for Lutherans, which is now Thrivent Financial. He retired in 1988.

Howard served as treasurer and clerk for the town of Cameron. He was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Shawano, Faith Lutheran Church and Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Marshfield. He was also very active in the Gideon ministry and with the Lutheran Layman's League.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Beverly Kuse, Marshfield, a son, Dennis (Sue) Kuse, Marshfield; three daughters, Karen (Roland) Hagen, DeAnn (Michael) Steinwagner, both of Marshfield and Sandra (Joseph) Hennlich, Sherwood, WI. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, three step grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

He is further survived by one sister, Marguerite Schirmacher, Marshfield.
