Bill was born March 25, 1929, the son of the late Reverend Raymond and Ivy Browe in Clark County, Wisconsin. After graduating from Marshfield High School in 1947, he began working for Parkin Ice Cream and also proudly served his country in the National Guard for 10 years. Later Bill went on to work at Felker Brothers Manufacturing, where he was employed for 30 years until he reached retirement.

In 1952 Bill married Germaine "Maize" Weiland. She died in 1990. In 1994 he married Lois (Hansen) "Itsy" Heide.

Bill enjoyed the time he spent at his cottage in Hayward, WI. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf. In the winter, he and Itsy spent time in Texas- golfing and socializing with their Hayward friends. One of his proudest achievements was shooting a hole-in-one. Bill also enjoyed feeding the birds, puttering in the yard, as well as watching the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers.

Bill will greatly be missed by his wife and best friend: Itsy, who survives him. He is also survived by his 2 step-daughters, Gerri (Bob) Quirt and Karen (Gary) Alexander; 5 step-grandchildren: Sara (Scott) Sann, Ben (Brenda) Quirt, Amanda (Brent) Jorth, Tim (Lindsay) Quirt, and Erin Alexander; 10 great-grandchildren: Abby, Jackson, and Lily Sann, Reese, Reghan, Piper, and Kian Quirt, Lillian and Bennett Jorth, and Cooper Quirt.
