Shulfer, Grace M.
Grace M. Shulfer, age 72, of Amherst Jct., WI, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Atrium of Stevens Point. She was born October 12, 1943 in the Town of Alban, WI; daughter of Leon "Leo" and Esther (Wroblewski) Kaminski. In January 1968, Grace married Leroy Shulfer at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church in Rosholt, WI. She will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Grace is survived by her husband: Leroy Shulfer of Amherst Jct., WI; four sons: Patrick Shulfer of Amherst Jct., WI, Dale (Paula) Shulfer of Amherst Jct., WI, David (Charlotte) Shulfer of Iola, WI, and John Shulfer of Amherst, WI; grandchildren: Jeena, Kenny, Giovanni, Bryan, and John; brothers and sisters: Felix Kaminski of Rosholt, WI, Alice (Alfred) Rekowski of Rosholt, WI, Benny (Geraldine) Kaminski of Polonia, WI, Marian Schultz of Stevens Point, WI, Celia (Edward) Konkol of Amherst, WI, Leonard Kaminski of Wausau, WI, Leona (Earl) Drefcinski of Stevens Point, WI, Theodore Kaminski of Elderon, WI, Rosaline Kaminski of Rosholt, WI, and Michael Kaminski of Rosholt, WI; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jeanette Kaminski of Polonia, WI, Dorothy Shulfer of Amherst, WI, Lorraine Shulfer of Milwaukee, WI, Delphine Shulfer of Amherst, WI, Donald (Hazel) Shulfer of Amherst, WI, Arlene (Jim) Koehl of Amherst, WI. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Esther Kaminski; one brother, Andrew Kaminski; five brothers-in-law, James Schultz, Gregory Shulfer, Richard Shulfer, Leonard Shulfer, and James Domaszek; and two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Kaminski and Barbara Kaminski.
A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church - Fancher in Amherst, WI. Father Dan Hackel will preside. A visitation will be held on Sunday evening, July 24, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst with a Rosary Service at 6:30 PM. A visitation will also be held on Monday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery following the mass on Monday. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
