Darlene H. Behselich, 90, Marshfield, died on Friday, December 23, 2016 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital Palliative Care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Marshfield, where the visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time. Rev. Savarimuthu Selvaraj and Rev. Eric Berns will officiate. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Darlene was born on January 30, 1926 in Wood County to Roy and Gertrude (McNamee) Holseth and was a 1944 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. Darlene was united in marriage to Robert A. Behselich on June 28, 1945 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. He died on August 23, 2011.

In addition to being a homemaker, Darlene had been employed as a beautician and later at a drycleaning business. She also had been a crossing guard. She enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, embroidering and "fancy work".

Darlene is survived by a daughter-in-law, Sandy Pilsner of Marshfield and 5 grandchildren, Hal Jr., Michael, Cody, Darlene and Michelle Behselich and 2 great granddaughters, Savannah and Alexandria. She is further survived by a sister Karen Holseth-Broekema of Neshkoro, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Melvin "Mike" Kraschnewski of Racine, George and Geraldine Behselich of Pittsville, Katherine Schroeder of Palmyra, Ann and Tom Hagen of Marshfield, Jane and Don Anderson of Marshfield and Joanie and Ron Ebacher of Wisconsin Rapids. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a son Hal Behselich Sr., and a sister, Idelle Kraschnewski.
