Rose Mary Dries
Rose Mary Dries, 78, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 in Above and Beyond, Allentown. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stefanie (Grohotolski) Szerensits. Rose Mary was predeceased by her husband, Russell C. Dries in 1973. In 1993 she earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Allentown College and earned a second Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2001 from St. Francis DeSales College. Rose Mary was an Electronic Technician at AT&T, the former Western Electric. She was an over 40 year member of St. Josephs Catholic Church, Limeport. Survivors: sons, Russell C. Dries, Jr. and wife Sharon K. of Coopersburg, Gregory A. Dries and wife Marcie L. of Manor, PA; brothers, Joseph, Thomas Szerensits; grandchildren, Rebecca Luna and husband ,Michael, Stefanie Sell and husband, Steven, Kelly and Emily Dries; great grandsons, Colby and Jackson Sell. She was predeceased by brothers, Frank and Edward Szerensits and sister, Helen Karo. Services: A visitation for family and friends to be held 9 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 in St. Josephs Catholic Church 5050 St. Josephs Road, Coopersburg followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment in the Church Cemetery.The K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc. is handling the arrangements.
