Dad, I'll miss you so much. You've tought me how to be a good person, how to enjoy the outdoors and the simple things in life. I'm glad we had the time we did. My brothers and sister are very proud of you and what you have accomplished in your life. You will never be forgotten, you've touched everyone you talked to. I will live my life on the path you have provided for me and I will not let you down. Don't worry we will all make sure Mom and BB are taken care of.
I love you Dad

Dad, you know I love you so much. What an experience having you as a father for 53 years! It's been so eventful - never dull. I love you, and what fun did we have, huh? I always felt comfortable coming to you with anything, and all the notes that came home to you -- I really appreciate your humor in it all -- Love, your daughter -- thank you for spending some of your last days with me. I feel like i've been given a gift from you.
