Charles R. Fronheiser, 72, of Ironton, PA, died January 29, 2013 at his Ironton home. Charlie was born February 9, 1940, in Lehighton, PA, to Charles and Florence (Bossard) Fronheiser. He attended Lehighton High School and was a member of the Lehighton Boys Band where his father was the Director. He joined the Navy in 1960 where he was a third class musician. He married Nancy Macinko in 1961 until her death in 2004, they celebrated 43 years of marriage. Afterwards, he pursued a career with Pitney Bowes for 30 plus years as a customer field technician. Upon retiring, he established the C & N Clock Shop where he had a passion for fixing all shapes and sizes of clocks. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hansel; sons and spouses, Chris and Kay, Richard and Lynn and Brad Fronheiser; Step daughters and spouses; Jennifer and Brian Service, Erin and Darren Harris, Meredith and Jeffrey Melasecca. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren. Charlie cherished his family and was proud of each and every one of them. Services: Today, February 2, 2013, at 11 a.m., at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St. Whitehall, PA for family and close friends.
