I wish that I could love you back to life.
I will always wish for one more day with you.
I listen to your music all the time, I blast it through my radio as I drive around singing all the words.
It´s in those moments I feel you the most. I just know you´re sitting in the passenger seat happy as hell to witness someone love your music.
Sometimes I wonder
Do you breathe life into your old bedroom? Do you ride your bike to that old chicken coop and smile? Remembering how quickly we became best friends that first day we met. Are you still there in Pennsylvania taking pictures of all the sunsets?
You had the most beautiful soul, I will never understand why you had to leave us. Missing you forever Coop. Until we meet again- My angel up in heaven.

My son James was a friend of Cooper's. James died in 2014. Today, a memory popped up - as they do on FaceBook - and I saw your son's kind message on my page, telling me that he missed James "dearly." I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet son, and I can only hope that our boys are together, talking about music and their families and waiting for us to join them.

Anniversaries always bring back remembrances. February 9, will always live in your hearts as a day of extreme tragedy and loss.
The pain of memory will never be erased, but will change in intensity with time. I hope and pray that happy memories of Cooper continue to grow in intensity and the sad ones decrease.

I met your lovely son when I drove my granddaughter Sarah Wilkes to pick him up so they could spend the day together. I am so very sorry for your loss. It is tragic. I planned to attend the funeral on behalf of Sarah and her Mother as they now live in Alabama. They are devastated as they both cared for him and found jim to be a loving kind young man. Since the funeral is private, I leave this note of respect to your family. God and His angels have your son wrapped in love. God Bless!
