To Juniors entire family and friends so sorry for your loss. Junior was a security guard at my high school back in my day always a nice guy to have around the building. Years later up until lost biking season I would still have the privilege of seeing him on the trail biking on his cool bike.We would always wave hi to each other. His loss will be a loss to our entire community. May he rip

Our condolences and prayer go out to the Conner's family and friends during your loss. Jr was more than just a friend, he was a terrific mentor and fellow Law Enforcement Officer. When things got tough, the tough got going was his motto along fellow officers. One thing for sure he will be greatly missed, I will always remember that smile when I handed him a block of my fresh made scrapple he loved so well. May the Great Spirit's lead him to the mighty resting grounds, and the Great Eagle guide the family to good health and never ending memories. " Silver Wolf "

My condolences to Junior's family for your loss. From my first time meeting him on the trail, I knew Junior was someone that had passion and a great outlook on life. Junior cared deeply about the Ironton Rail Trail, but I also know that he was an advocate and trail user for trails all over. One time after I was kayaking and camping on the Susquehanna River for days, I was brought back to my car feeling cold, wet, and tired from a long trip. Out of chance, I was welcomed by a familiar face, for Junior had just finished up a ride on the nearby trail. We can all take a page from Junior's book and remember to enjoy and care for the things that we are passionate about. Every time I've run into him on the IRT or any other trail in Pennsylvania, I'm glad to have known him.

Shirley,
So sorry to hear of your husband's passing. He was such a nice man and so good with the children. I remember when it seemed that most of the kids in W. Catty gathered to play in the streets around our houses and shoot baskets with Bobby Hetten. Remember when you baby sat for Gina and Steve when I worked part time in a doctor's office? Time goes by so quickly. I lost my husband Gerry almost 8 years ago. My deepest sympathies.

I have lots of fond memories of this man while a student at Whitehall High. He didn't always say much but he always knew just what to say to make you laugh and brighten your day. Even into adulthood I'd run into him here and there and we would just shoot the breeze a bit. Seeing him riding his bike and just yelling out yo Junior and see him smile and waive was always priceless. My deepest condolences to his loved ones. He was truly a great person. Was a pleasure to have been able to know him. May you Rest In Peace brother. See you when I get there.

We are so sorry to hear of Junior's passing. While we were only neighbors for a year, we quickly realized what an interesting man he was. From the hanging garden, to the plants in shoes and the incredibly long bike rides he would take. His dedication to the iRT and the community in general will certainly be missed. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Shirley and the family.
