Dear Antoinette,
On behalf of the 1970 era Mansfield State College football team I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to your family. Joe was great friend and teammate to the Mountie football family. I will remember him not only as a terrific athlete but a Coal Region guy with a great smile and wonderful sense of humor.

Joe was a roommate of mine in the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity house at Mansfield University. A lot of fun memories from that semester. Joe also took me to Shenandoah to buy the engagement ring for my wife. During that memorable weekend, Joe introduced me to the more then I can remember number of bars in town. A good friend and a very good football player at Mansfield. He will be missed.
