Alice Hagenbuch Obituary

Alice L. Hagenbuch
Alice L. Hagenbuch, 86, of Slatington, passed away July 31, 2012 at the InPatient Hospice Unit. She was the wife of the late Jacob M. Beekman and the former wife of John Heiner and Ralph Hagenbuch. Born in New Market, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Viola (Stites) Lilly. Alice worked as a marker and trimmer at Fernbrook in Neffs.Prior to that, she was assistant supervisor at Swiss Maid, Greentown, PA and was an administrative assistant to the superintendant of schools in New Market, NJ. She was a member of the Slatington Senior Citizens and she enjoyed playing pinochle. She was a member of Good Shepherd UCC in Slatedale. Survivors: Daughter, Jan P. and husband Dalton C. Semmel of Whitehall; son, Alan R. Hagenbuch; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Frederick E. Lilly of Piscataway, NJ; nieces and nephews. Alice was predeceased by her sons, Lynn M. Beekman and Ralph A. Hagenbuch, Jr.; her sister and four brothers. Services: 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2012 at Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. 2nd St., Slatington. Calling hour 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
