Amy P. Potter Obituary
Amy P. Potter, 91, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Potter. Born July 19, 1926 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Morris C. and Florence (Camburn) Clayton. Amy was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Allentown. She worked at Lehigh Valley Health Network for 36 years and was the very first financial counselor for any hospital in Pennsylvania. While at LVHN, Amy helped thousands of people navigate the difficult choices with health care finances. Survivors: sons, Gregg J. Potter and wife, Marianne, and Richard H. Marlatt; daughter, Karen V. Hoffman and wife, James; grandchildren, Sean Jacoby, Victoria Swank, Holly Kijak, Sara Jo Potter; and great grandchildren, Alyssa Jacoby and Jaxon Kijak. Amy was predeceased by a brother, Donald Clayton. Services: A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 27th at 2:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Family and friends may gather Wednesday 1 – 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolence may be submitted at www.reichelfuneralhome.com.
