Anthony G. Boscia
Anthony G. Boscia, 79, of Palmer Township, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2008 in his home. Born October 1, 1928 in Santo Stafano Di Camastra, Italy, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Maria Grazia Patti Boscia. Anthony and his wife, the former Sarina Sadie Lisinicchia, celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary in June. He was employed as a chipper for Ingersol Rand retiring in 1985. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Easton, where he served as an usher for 54 years. Anthony was also a member of the Holy Cross Society, Holy Name Society, San Placido Society, Golden Age Club, United Steel Workers Union and life member of the Wilson Boro Republican Club. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Anthony is survived by a sister, Concetta Lodi of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; many nieces, nephews. Sisters, Teresa Azzolina, Maria Zaffiro, and brothers, Ciro, Salvatore, Francesco Boscia and Sebastiano Zitelli, preceded Anthony in death. Services: Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3-5 p.m. and Monday from 8:15-9:15 a.m. in the Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Palmer Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 a.m. in the church, Ninth and Lehigh streets, Easton. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Williams Township.
