Destiny Pearl Heimbecker Obituary
Destiny Pearl (Schevling) Heimbecker, 41, of Hellertown, PA passed away peacefully with family by her side Sunday May 13, 2018, after a valiant fight with ovarian cancer. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, devoted wife and caring friend to hundreds of individuals whose lives she touched with her incredible creativity, indomitable character, and inspiring charity.

Destiny married her high school sweetheart, Chad Heimbecker, in 2000, spending over 23 years of their lives together. Their two children, Loran Cassidy, age 7, and Brandt Edward, age 4, were the joy of her existence.

Born in 1976, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Schevling and is survived by her brother Jeremy Schevling; in-laws: Jane Heimbecker, Joseph and Dominique Heimbecker, Morgan Heimbecker and Jason McGowan, 2 nieces and 1 nephew; and cousins: Kimberly Ruch-Alegant, Shelley Surber, Sherri Ruch, Leah Gorman, and Jake Peters.

Destiny graduated from William Allen High School (1996) and Cedar Crest College (2000), with degrees in Art and Communications, earning recognition for her artistic talents. She went on to become the Marketing Manager at Vistacom, Allentown, for over 16 years. She often utilized her creative energy aiding various charitable organizations in the community. She loved trips to the beach, entertaining friends and family, and celebrating all that life has to offer. Her infectious laughter, sharp wit and welcoming demeanor will be thoroughly missed by many.

A celebration of Destiny's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made towards the children's college fund or to help defray medical bills.
