Lost is a patriarch and a great voice. Sadly missed but fortunate for so many happy, healthy years; especially for a grandson of 30.

The integrity of the game of golf might have just improved a bit, but a foursome will never be the same.

"And I shall hear, tho' soft you tread above me

And all my dreams will warm and sweeter be

Oh Danny Boy, I love you so."

Mr. Eckenrode, as I knew him, was a fair and good man. He hired me at Prudential (Quakertown) Insurance when I was in a vunerable state. He pulled me to the side one day and said, "if anyone around here gives you a hard time, you let me know and I will take care of them. You don't need this right now." From that point on I knew him as a manager and a friend and really hated to see him retire. I've thought of his great generosity often over the years, it has been 20 yrs.
