My condolences to the entire Thomas family and friends of the Thomas family. I always felt that Joyce Thomas was an outstanding woman. She treated me well and was always interested in what I had to say, what I was doing and supported me in my relationship with her daughter Nancy. She was clearly a good mother and raised a fine family. I was glad to have the opportunity to speak with her a few years ago after not having seen her for many years. It appears that she lived a long and happy life. I am sure that she will be missed by her family and others. Again, my sincere condolences to all. Brian D. Ziegler

I met Joyce through work, she was my mentor, always generous in sharing her knowledge. We spent much time painting together, lots of wine, and so many laughs! I loved to visit with her in her new home on Lynn and Don's farm. i will miss the redheaded Godess, as I called her. Much love to all of the family.

Sincere condolences to the Thomas family on the loss of their matriarch. Joyce was a terrific person who popped into to my life at various times. I knew her at St. Luke’s as a concerned mother and as a nurse. Then later I met her again at a Bethlehem Palette Club meeting. She was vivacious, charming and funny. Always a joy. She will be missed.

Dear Family of Joyce: Joyce was one of the sweetest and kindest people I know. She opened her home to three other artists to paint with her twice a month. Phyllis Facchiano, JoAnn Creyer and I loved going there! We were very sad to see her move away but glad for her to be with family! She was very humble about her paintings. She did beautiful watercolors but didn’t believe us when we told her how good they were! She was a wonderful friend to the three of us! I treasure the books she gave me when she moved!
Sincere sympathy to the family!
