Dear Ed,
I just heard about the tragic accident that took your granddaughter's life. Obviously, she was very special. I am truly sorry and will remember you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Tom and Peggy, May God give you the strength and comfort at this time. It's a horrible tragedy. We met at Georgetown when Kathleen and our daughter, Laura were juniors in HS and participated in a summer program together. Laura was terribly homesick and Kathleen's friendship made all the difference. We were very grateful to Kathleen for the beauiful friend she was to our daughter that summer. Our prayers are with your family. The Cofino Family

To the Family:
What a tragic story. We were so sorry to read of the tragic accident that caused the death of your precious loved one and wanted to express our deepest condolences to you.
Never was it the intent of God for us to die. He knows your pain and promises to be "near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." -- Psalm 34:18.
How we long for the time when "all those in the memorial tombs will be called out" to life on a righteous, peaceful earth. -- John 5:28 & 29)
Kathleen is now in God's memory with the wonderful hope of being among those called out.
While there are no words that will remove your pain, it's our prayer that this note give you a bit of solace now, but more importantly, comfort and hope for the future.

Dear Tom and Peggy,
I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I have delightful memories of Kathleen - helping her with Spanish homework in your kitchen at Christchurch Hill. You were doing laundry (as ever) and Kevin kept bounding into the room with a loose tooth. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our daughter Glenna attended the University of Glasgow with Kathleen in 2008. Kathleen surrounded Glenna with care and friendship on their adventures. We live in Canada and as parents we felt a tremendous sense of relief and support knowing that Glenna was with a kind person. Glenna had the opportunity to spend time in London with Kathleen's family. Again we felt a sense of calm knowing that Glenna was amongst kind and caring people. I continue to pray for Kathleen and her wonderful family. A very special young lady has gone to be with Lord. I am sure Kathleen will continue to show all her special spirit. Go in peace Kathleen and thank you.

Dear Peggy and Tom,
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family at this most difficult and sorrow-filled time. Charlie and I are so sorry for your great loss. I have a lovely image of a 4-yr.-old Kathleen standing between the baby pool and the junior pool on a bright and sunny day. You are in our thoughts and prayers always.

I am so very sorry for your loss. While I did not know Kathleen well, I spent my high school years at ASL with Chris. The Benz family has been such a happy and constant presence at ASL, and Kathleen will be dearly missed by the ASL community as well as many others.
