Kay Yartymyk, 58, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, August 15, 2006, in Montefiore University Hospital, Pittsburgh. Wife of John S. Yartymyk, they were married for 37 years on May 7. Born April 18, 1948, in Chios, Greece, she was a daughter of the late Peter G. and Anastasia (Papadopoulos) Apotsos. She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Bethlehem, and a member of the Ladies Philoptochos. She was an active member of the Daughters of Penelope, Paeon Chapter 253, Bethlehem. Survivors: Husband; daughter, Christine Y. Rinker and husband Matthew of Bethlehem; son, Michael Yartymyk and wife Heather of Hellertown; sisters, Diamond Geiger and husband Dennis of Warren, Pa., Mary Valianatos and husband Anastasios of Bethlehem; brother, George Apotsos of Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Nicholas and Eleah Rinker, Benjamin Yartymyk. She was predeceased by a sister, Georgia Apotsos Sebastionelli. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 1607 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem. Viewing, 7-9 p.m. today, John F. Herron Funeral Home, 458 Center at Market streets, Bethlehem, and 9-10 a.m. Saturday in the church. Trisagion Service, 8 p.m. today, followed by a Daughters of Penelope Service at 8:30 p.m. today, both in the funeral home. Interment, Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, Allentown.
