Paul A. "Butch" Horvath, 78, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Friday, September 8, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the loving husband of Sylvia (Gerny) Horvath, with whom he shared 54 years of loving marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Anna D. Horvath. Paul was a graduate of Liberty High School. He worked for the Bethlehem Steel in the painting and furniture department until retiring. Paul was an avid Nascar fan and was affiliated with the Motor Racing Network for many years. He loved to go hunting, fishing and skiing. Paul was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Church, Bethlehem. Survivors: he will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sylvia; sons Paul J. Horvath and his wife Christine of Lower Nazareth and David Horvath and his wife Michelle of Springtown; grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Alena and Ian; Aunts Betty DelGrosso and her husband Daniel of Bethlehem and Irene Meyers of Bath and many cousins. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M. on Monday September 18, 2017 at Incarnation of Our Lord Church, 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem. Calling hours will be held on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com.
