Harriet O. St.Amant

Uncle Rob was one of my favorite people. He and my Aunt Harriet ("Harriets" are featured in both families; and their daughter Marsha's middle name is Harriet), were perfectly suited to one another and I loved them both dearly, as well as their children. I trust that Uncle Rob is still resting in peace at Mount Auburn along with my parents. God is watching over them.

Uncle Rob is gone, but definitely not forgotten. His wife, Aunt Harriet, is now the last remaining member of that generation of my family on both sides ... Grandparents gone, Mother and Father gone, Aunts and Uncles gone; sadly, even some cousins, including my sister Marilyn and Rob and Harriet's son Steven, all gone along with my son Phil III. I thank a merciful God that I believe we will all eventually be reunited in the great afterlife He manages.

Dave Murray was my father's best friend, Harriet Murray was my mother's sister, and Dave was best man when my parents were married. Daddy enjoyed taking credit for bringing Rob and Harriet together, but somehow I think they would have found each other anyhow. Few couples are as devoted to one another and their children as the Murrays were and remain, and there is surely a special place in heaven for folks such as these. May God be with you all as you mourn the loss of Uncle Rob, one of the dearest men I have ever known.
