Sterling C. Gogle, Sr. 96, of Catasauqua died January 09, 2021 from complications of COVID – 19 at Phoebe Home in Allentown. He was the husband of the late Margaret S. "Peggy" Gogle for 72 years prior to her passing in 2017. Born in Schoenersville, PA., he was the son of the late Charles S. and Mabel M. (Hess) Gogle.

Sterling was a life time member of Christ United Church of Christ in Schoenersville where he served as President and Elder of the Church Consistory. He also enjoyed playing in the church dart baseball league. Sterling was employed as an automotive machinist at Dave's Auto Parts for 45 years. He was always happy to support his family in the many activities they were involved in. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are daughters Barb wife of Chuck Woodley, Pam wife of Craig Seyfried, Kim wife of Scott Scheirer and his son Sterling C. Gogle Jr. He was a doting grandfather to his 6 grandchildren Kara, Brett, Jared, Craig, Dawn and Lauren,11 great grandchildren with 2 on the way. Also surviving are sister Florence Gogle and sister-in-law Edith Gogle. He was preceded in death by his brother Alfred and sister Dorathea.

Due to current restrictions, services will be held at a future date. Memorial contributions may be given to Christ United Church of Christ, 5050 Airport Road, Allentown, PA 18109 or to Meals on Wheels of the GLV Attn: Cori Rolón, 4240 Fritch Dr., Bethlehem, PA 18020.
