Dear Sharon and family,My condolences to you on the death of my cousin Bill.

I, too, was a student of Mr. Hamilton during his first years in Nazareth. He knew how to nurture talent, bring out the best in an ensemble and put on a great show. From looking sharp in our blue Chorale blazers, to staging a Godspell medley, to bringing musical theatre back to NAHS with 1776, he climbed every mountain. Please know we are thankful for the memories and are better people/musicians because of Bill Hamilton. The Class of 1976 sang "Everytime We Say Good-Bye" at graduation 41 years ago, so today I die a little, too.

Dear Mr. Hamilton, you were a very awesome music teacher, and blessed me with the peace of mind to always be open minded with music. It has healed me through out my life. I pray that you are safe in heaven, and I pray for your family also, here on earth.

Peace and Hugs,

Tonia S. Matyger

Dear Mrs. Hamilton and family,
I was a student in the choruses and participated in musicals every year of my time at Nazareth high school. It was the best part of high school for me. I'm so grateful for the time, dedication and countless hours Mr. Hamilton gave to us and to making sure that there were musical and theater opportunities for us. I went on to sing in college and also in the community, and it has continued to be a joyous part of my life that has connected me to my closest friends. His love for music and for his students continues on in the many many of us who were inspired and mentored by him. Sending you and your family love and prayers.

My sincere condolences to your family. I was one of Mr. Hamilton's students for three years of chorus. One of my fondest memories from high school is a trip Mr. Hamilton took us on to a school in Wading-Rivers, NY (if I remember correctly). We were hosted by families of students in their chorus program. Being a teacher now myself, I can fully appreciate the effort that took. He had a commitment and love for music and his career that I'll always be thankful for. May he RIP....

Our condolences on your loss. He was one of the reason I enjoy music and singing. He was a cool, cool, considerate man whose like may never be seen again (from the musical 1776 where I first met him in 1976.)

Vaya con Dios.

Bill was one of my best friends in high school. He loved Indiana University and followed his mentors -Mr.Cooper and Mr.G. I will always remember his interest in the ARTS and his first performance-- in the Mifflin High School Musical-Oklahoma. He proudly introduced me to his wife and sons at the funeral of his mother. I am sending my prayers to his family . Cancer is such a relentless beast- Thankfully, he is at Peace.
