Lori A. Folweiler
Lori A. Folweiler, 20, of Bushkill Township, passed away peacefully into Gods care, after a courageous battle with cancer, Wednesday, October 29, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, surrounded by her family. The beloved daughter of Wayne T. and Dona L. (Simons) Folweiler, she was born February 13, 1988 in Fountain Hill. Lori was a graduate of Nazareth High School, class of 2006, and also a graduate of the Allentown School of Cosmetology in 2007. Prior to her illness, she worked as a hairstylist for Super Cuts, Forks Township, since July 2007. Previously, she worked at the Staples office supply at Northampton Crossings. Lori enjoyed dance and was a former student for five years of Ms. Jeannie Cardinals School of Dance, Nazareth. She also was a former cheerleader for the Nazareth Clippers Midget Football team. Lori was a member of the Nazareth Moravian Church, and a devoted student of bible study, where she found great comfort and strength in her Christian faith. Survivors: Her loving family, parents with whom she resided; maternal grandmother, Pat Simons of Bethlehem; aunts and uncles, Sharon L. Coopersmith of Easton, Raymond C. Folweiler III of Nazareth, Donald E. Simons Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of North Whitehall Township and John H. Simons and his wife, Elyse, of Lower Nazareth Township; cousins, Richard and Jesse Coopersmith, Raymond C. Folweiler IV, Deborah Loquasto and Lisa Simons Jessamine; her precious pet cat, Lizzie. Lori was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Raymond C. Jr. and Minnie (Kametler) Folweiler, as well as her maternal grandfather, Donald E. Simons. Services: Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Finegan Funeral Home, 1837 Washington Blvd., Easton. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Saturday from 9:30-11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place, Suite 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017 and/or the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
