Henry Grunwald Obituary
Henry C. Grunwald, 80, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6, 2017; he was surrounded by his loving family. Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Henry and Beatrice (Copertino) Grunwald. He was the husband of Patricia (Edler) Grunwald, the love of his life. They were married for 56 years. Henry was a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology where he received his BS in Electrical Engineering. He worked for several companies including Western Electric and ITT. After retirement he owned and operated his own consulting company. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a veteran of the US Navy. Henry's passion in life was his family and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grand and great grandchildren. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Patricia; daughters, Marie G. Muschlitz, Patricia G. Baranowski (Robert F.) and Christine C. Moyer (Leroy C.); grandchildren, Janel Ojeda (William), Brianne McGarry (William), Clifford Grunwald Serenyi (Desiree), Elizabeth Baranowski, Zachary and Emily Moyer; great grandchildren, Aidan, Sean and Hailey McGarry, Camille, Reese and Bryce Ojeda, Abrianna and Max Serenyi and Logan Knowles; siblings, Warren Grunwald, Beatrice Mullin and Mary Lou Ramos; and 3 generations of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Clifford H. Grunwald; grandson, Richard "Ricky" Muschlitz and brother, Louis Grunwald. Services: Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem on Sunday, Sept. 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A viewing will be held in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. An 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow.
