Maria Moralis Obituary
Maria J. Moralis, 71, of Andreas died on March 16, 2012. She was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands, daughter of the late Dick and Maria (Hubbel) Van Den Heuvel. Maria and her late husband Michael were owners and operators of Michaels Inn located in Northampton for many years. Survivors: Son Erik Moralis, husband of Shonda of Kutztown; daughter Cynthia Visser, wife of Patrick Mazziotta of Kempton; grandchildren Benjaman and Anika; sister Cornilia Bergwerff; nephews Richard and Ralph. Service: Graveside on Tuesday, March 20 at 2 p.m. in Fountain Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the John F. Herron Funeral Home 458 Center At Market Street Bethlehem.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Maria was such a wonderful woman. I loved seeing her at the barn riding. That's one great memory I'll remember of her. As hard as it is for you that she is gone, I'm glad she is at peace now. I hope you can find some comfort in that. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Erik and Cynthia,
I wanted you both to know how much I respected and loved your mother. The fun times will always be great memories from the time she took us to our first concert, to the help she gave my wife and I in planning our wedding reception. She was and always will be remembered by us as a wonderfully loving and giving lady. Our prayers and thoughts will be with you at this difficult time.

I wanted to thank all that have reached out in these difficult times. I am torn to think that my mom has left... but relieved that she is finished with all of the suffering that had encompassed her life in those last few months. She deserves the peace that she has now.

In December I was admitted to LVH and Maria was my roomate for those 4 days. We talked a lot about our children, her granddaughter, soon to be grandson and our mutual love for horses. During that time I met both Cynthia and Erik. Your mother was a lovely wonderful woman whom I am so grateful to have met. We talked as if we had known each other for years. We will keep each of you in our prayers as you remember and honor your mother and pray for peace as you go through this difficult time.
