Frances Borlodan Obituary
Frances R. (Schamenek) Borlodan, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012. She was the wife of the late George F. Borlodan. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary A. (Dravecz) Schamenek. Frances retired from Just Born after 20 years of service. She was a lifetime member of the former St. John Capistrano Catholic Church and current member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miller Heights. Survivors: Children, Georgine Kominsky and husband Robert of Bethlehem, Mary Ann Petrohoy and husband Stephen of Bethlehem Twp., Rosalie Hershey and husband William of Saucon Valley, George Borlodan and wife Teresa of London, England; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Helen Kirkpatrick of Ocean City, NJ; sister-in-law, Marie Kovacs; brother-in-law, Michael Borlodan. She was predeceased by grandson, Charles Wisser; and siblings, Charles, Sister Albina, Sister Lucy and Anna. Services: A viewing will be held on Monday, 9 to 11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. all in Downing Funeral Home, Inc., 1002 W. Broad St., Bethlehem 18018. Burial to follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Francess memory to the church or to the Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714.

I will dearly mis my Frances with alkaline my heart, I loved her so. Ill cherish the momoriof when I took her on a vanride to Justborn.Her whole face lit up when she read the sign. I love you miss Frances & may you R.I.P.always..

Dear Mary Ann, Georgine, and Rosalie,
You've been in my thoughts and prayers these past days as you spent time with your mother in her last days and mourned her passing. You know my journey has been the same, so I know what you are going through. It is God who sustains us and friends and family who support us with their prayers and kindness. Dear Mom and Dad, Aunt Georgine, Aunt Rosalie and Uncle George,
The Colrado Petrohoy family would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the remaining Borlodan family! It is with sincere regret that we will not be able to attend the service for my grandmother "Fuzzy". I want you all to know, that she lived a long and fruitful life! She passes on through all of us, a great demeanor and respect for all people! I will forever hold dear, the memories of her and Grandpop "George"! May the dear lord, give her a prominent status in the afterlife! I pray her and Grandpop, are now united and can carry on in love and peace. We love you all, and hope and pray the Borlodan traditions and fortitude will pass on to our children, grand children and great grand children, as we know Grandmom and Grandpop would like!

Dear Rosalie,
I just happened to recognize the last name of your mother, and checked to see if it was your mother. It's been a long time...we went to Becahi together. It's that time in our lives where we give our parents back to the Lord. I hope you have many fond memories, as I do of my mom, who just passed 10/30/2011, at the age of 91. May God give you comfort and peace,and eternal rest of your mother's soul.
