Charles G. Grohotolski, 65, of Palmerton, died suddenly Tuesday, April 16, in Blue Mountain Health System, Palmerton campus. He was the husband of Linda M. (Rehrig) Grohotolski for 47 years. He worked in the maintenance department of PPL Electric for the last 26 years. Previously, he worked at Mack Motors, Macungie, and the former New Jersey Zinc Co., Palmerton.Charlie was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Palmerton. He was a devoted and longtime fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Born in Palmerton, Charlie was a son of the late Joseph and Cecelia (Myers) Grohotolski. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Julie Handwerk of Palmerton; sons, Charles Jr. and wife Kecia Platt of Lancaster, Gregory and wife Melody of New Tripoli; seven grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Hosier, and Rita and husband Martin Heiney, both of Palmerton; brothers, John and wife June of Bethlehem, George and wife Nancy, and Christopher, both of Palmerton, Joseph of Nazareth. Services: Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m., Saturday, April 20, in church, 243 Lafayette Ave, Palmerton. Call 7-9 p.m., Friday, April 19, and 8:30-9:30 a.m., Saturday, at T.K.
