I was lucky to meet Rob as an 8th grader when he was in my Spanish class. His smile and sense of humor could warm anyone's heart. As a teacher, you always have students you will never forget - and, in my eyes, Rob is one of those students. I feel honored to have been a small part of his life.
I am saddened to hear of this tragedy and all of his family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

I can't express to you the feelings of loss in our household. Chuck, Ali, Sandy and I all feel like a large chunk has been taken out of our hearts. Your son, as you know, was a fixture in our house for many years, sometimes very funny and good, sometimes less. But what I take away from my sons time with your son was that they were more like brothers than friends. For that I am very grateful as it has helped form the young man my son has become. Rough around the edges at times, but a better person for having friend, brother, like Rob. I am very sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you and your family in this time.
