Oh Conrad, There are only special people like you that will always be remembered and missed. Not a day goes by that I didn't wish to have a call with you. No one has compared with your knowledge of building supplies. But more importantly every Fall I think of when you would come over to our place and build the Haunted Houses. Our conversation in the Yards, discussing our kids are missed. Great memories for sure. Love you man

You are always remembered. Every day.
So much has changed since the day you passed. For you always said I was the sister you never had. As you were like a brother to me too. Now my oldest dear brother is with you too. Praying your both at peace. And maybe youve met up and can share some fun stories. May your family have peace in knowing your peace with our Lord. Love always Conrad.

I never did forget those funny wonderful times we had working together. You were an inspiration with your dedicated work ethic and a hilarious friend. Go Ghost Busters. You made a difference in my life and in every life you touched. The earth is much poorer without your light shining. God speed and I'll see you on the other side.

I am in complete shock today at finding out this news. I have known Conrad my entire career as a building inspector. We forged a friendship through our common interests in the building industry and martial arts. Conrad helped me through the process of building two of my own homes. Whenever he had a code questions he always called. I am at a complete loss for words finding out that this incredible person / friend is not a phone call away anymore. You will be greatly missed my friend.

Conrad,

During nearly 20 years in the construction business I never meet someone who had your knowledge or ability to retain facts and information. Thanks for all the education you gave me over the years. You will be sorely missed by the Lehigh Valley Building community. RIP my friend.

So sad to hear of Conrad's passing. My condolences to the Sandrock family

September 23, 2015

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to Pastor Sandrock and his entire family on the death of his son Conrad. I was saddened to hear of his untimely passing. My memories of Conrad go back to the age of five or six years of age. his family was new to the area and I was their babysitter. The boys were a challenge sometimes but we usually had a lot of fun. I remember their bedtime rituals the most. Conrad always wanted me to read to him from the encyclopedia. He was mostly interested in reading about space and unusual animals and birds. After reading to him we would talk about what we learned. He did most of the talking and I did a lot of agreeing. I often think of those boys moving to Riegelsville at a young age and be the new preacher's kids. It had to be hard for them but their parents were there to help with their new surroundings. RIP Conrad. Ron and Doris Marsh Easton, Pa.

As a leader you look for special people to populate your organization and Conrad was one of those people. As I visited his Lumber Yard location I always looked forward to his smile and laughter and could count on him to give his best effort.
I know he loved his family, his fellow employees and his loyal customers and they in return all loved him.
He will be deeply missed but I'm sure he's offered to help the good Lord with any building project he might have in mind.
God bless you and may you rest in peace.

It didn't matter if it was unloading box cars of Andersen windows together, or drifting a Parachute Adams dry fly through the riffles; I always admired Conrad's sense of humor, insightfulness, kindness, innate wisdom, and intellect. He was a Sensei in many ways. My deepest sympathies are with Conrad's family.

Not a day has gone by in the past few months since your leave from Shelly's, that I have not thought and prayed for you.. I love you like a brother and will never forget you. You have told me for 25 years, I was the sister you never had, that was never taken lightly. We have shared our children and grandchildren with each other through our many conversations. I talked to you daily, while we both explored our passions for building. You were a walking Encyclopedia with a tender and loving heart. A more incredible mind, there was not. And of course I'll never forget my given name from you "Log Jamb"....there were so many possibilities.....And of course I needed to know and see them all!. Although some days you would complain, I always knew you enjoyed the challenge and loved the creative outcome) )I've missed our daily bantering, but now I'll talk to you in heaven.May you rest in Peace, my friend. And may Kyong, Eric, the Twins (Jessica and Julia), Christine, and Aris and Zachary. also find peace and know that you were so dearly loved and respected by so many. With the deepest of sympathy.
