This rememberance came up in my email today. Shawn was my son´s teacher in 2014. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. My son still remembers her as his favorite teacher and we still speak of those memories. May her family find comfort in the memories of Shawn´s life and their time together.

Losing a child has to be the worst thing a parent can go through. A day doesn't go by that I don't think of you all. You are ever in my thoughts and prayers!

Shawn was my cheerleading coach late 90s early 2000 at Emmaus. I have so many fond and great memories from Shawn. For as gorgeous as she was on the outside, her heart was just as beautiful. She sure drew attention to other football Coaches!
Shawn, you will be missed but never forgotten.

Dear Judy, Ron & Family,
I am unable to fathom your heartache at this tragic moment. I can still vividly remember Shawn's lovely, smiling face from when she played flashlight tag with our children back in the old neighborhood so many years ago. She was always the first to want to play, the fastest and the one bursting and bouncing with positive energy and wild enthusiasm. We joked about her having the family gene for sports and showmanship. Life was pure and simple then. We did not yet know that bad things happened to good people.
I had a soft spot for Shawn. I admired her spunk and especially her child-like sweetness. I will always fondly remember her. I am so sorry for this nightmare and sincerely hope that one day you may find some sort of peace.

I had Mrs. Zdancewicz as a teacher almost 4 years ago and I can still remember the amazing impact she had on me. She was always so kind and caring and willing to help those who were struggling. You could tell she had a love for her job and cared about every single one of her students, and we all loved her back. I'm so so sorry to hear what happened to her. She was a wonderful, amazing person and mentor that I will certainly never forget! Rest in peace Mrs. Zdancewicz, and I hope you're doing well in the afterlife.

I am the daughter of Linda & Barry Woodring of Emmaus. I remember growing up & playing with Shawn & Tiffany. My children also got to know Shawn as a teacher at Whitehall where they attend. A few years ago I realized at a school function, she was a childhood friend.
I am so very saddened by your loss. No words can ever be enough. We lost my Dad in July this year and my heart still breaks. I know Shawn was a wonderful teacher and made a positive impact on so many children. May you find comfort and peace in these difficult days ahead. Remember all that Shawn accomplished and the happy times you shared.

Shawn was my daughters current 4th grade teacher. The first teacher to ever get thru to my little girl and help her find excitement in learning. I found comfort sending my daughter Nevaeh to school everyday knowing she was with Shawn whom Nevaeh "loved as family" this is the hardest loss she has ever felt. As a mother my heart aches for my child. My heart aches for Shawn's parents and loved ones. She was truly a special person. We all will be forever changed by the footprints she left on our hearts. I hope you find comfort in her memory. I also hope she knew just how much she was genuinely loved by all these children. They are better because of her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Shawn was my son Corey's teacher 2 years ago. I had the great pleasure of getting to know her during that school year. She was a beautiful woman inside and out and had the kindest heart and soul.
