Lawrence A. "Larry" Zelinski, 86, formerly of Roseto and Pen Argyl passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at Abington Manor at Morgan Hill Senior Living, Easton, Pa. Born June 8, 1930 in Walnutport, Pa., a son of the late Alex and Anna ( Konkolics) Zelinski. His beloved wife for 42 years, Bessie (Franchino) Zelinski, passed away in 2006. A Graduate of Lehigh Township High School in 1948 and had worked for Bethlehem Steel for two years and enlisted in the US Army in 1951 and while in basic training he graduated from Ordnance Automotive School in 1951 for Wheel Vehicle Repairman and from South Georgia Trade & Vocation for Motor Vehicle Repair. He served in the US Army as mechanic from 1951 to 1953 during the Korean War. He retired after 39 years from Bethlehem Steel in 1992 as an Oil Pump Repairman . He was a Member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Roseto and United Steel Workers of America Local 2598 and the Martocci-Capobianco American Legion Post 750 of Roseto. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by eleven siblings; John Zelinski, Velma Zelinski, Alex Zelinski, Joseph Zelinski, Charles Zelinski, Frank Zelinski, Annie Zech, Frances Mesics, Helen Romano, Elizabeth Wissinger and Margaret Schell. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Third & Garibaldi Avenues, Roseto.
