Knew Jeff from the time I was old enough to wander from my yard, and he remained a close friend all the way into adulthood. Great memories growing up with Jeff playing baseball at "Three Gutters" field and Stubbs' yard, summers at Hamilton Park, and football in Dent's side yard. Walks to school were always memorable and after graduation we had more great times together at "The Mission." Jeff always had a kind word to offer and was always a good friend to me and Deb. And though our times together over the last years were few, he always made time to ask about our family and impart his sincerest wishes.
Cubs will forever have their number one fan looking over them. God bless Jeff.
