Mary S. Klimek 93, of Allentown, passed away on Valentine's Day February 14, 2018. Mary was the wife of the late Victor L. Klimek who passed in 2007. Born in Wilkes Barre, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Savorey. Mary was an assembler for many years for the former Western Electric Company in Allentown. Mary was at Western Electric when the first transistor was made. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Allentown. For years Mary was active with the Nifty Fifty Dance Club, and the Flag Day Association. Surviving are her sons: Stephen (Barbara) of Allentown, Michael (Yong Nan) of Aurora, CO, and John of Allentown. Brother Peter Savorey and sister Helen Chim both of Wilkes Barre. Mary's grandchildren are: Tracey, Victor, and John Jr. and her great granddaughter is Nicole. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 17, 2018 at 10:00 am in Our Lady Help of Christians. Calling will be on Saturday from 8:30-9:40 am in the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Allentown.

So sorry for the loss of such a wonderful lady.
Our memories include being neighbors over the past fifty years.
Our sons Mike and Lou became friends and continue to share even though they are separated by miles. I remember many times talking about the kids, good food, and the good and bad times you share with me as a neighbor.
Most of all is the devoted time she gave to her friends and anyone who she knew needing help or just a friendly smile.
