Joseph A. Scarano Sr.

Joseph A. Scarano, Sr., age, 87 of Macungie, PA went home to be with his Lord on Friday, March 30, 2018 surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Joseph was a retired Port Authority police officer, a trained opera singer and an accomplished and published artist and author. Joseph was the sole author and illustrator of the book "In the Beginning", one of his greatest accomplishments in life. Joseph earned a degree from Liberty University and he was the former President of the International Cops for Christ and himself, a devout follower of Jesus Christ. Joseph leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Nancy; his four children: Maryann (Tom); Annmarie (Chris); Joseph (Kristen) Frank (Michael); fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and his loving sister, Anna and his brother-in-law, Robby; The Scarano family invites family and friends to share in honoring and celebrating his life on Tuesday, April 17, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the Weber Funeral Homes, P.C. located at 1619 W. Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18102. Following the celebration of Joseph's life there will be a gathering for immediate family. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donation in Joseph's honor and memory can be made to his favorite places of worship which include Faith Church located at 6528 Hamilton Boulevard, Allentown, PA 18106 and or to Life Church-Macungie located at 69 Trexlertown Road, Macungie, PA 18062.
