So very sorry for your loss. I was fresh out of high school in 1968 when I started working with your dad in Steam, Water & Air at the Steel. I found him to be a very kind, sweet man who was always so interesting to talk to. He spoke of his children with great pride and love. I got to see him again about 5 years ago at a birthday celebration for his son Ray who my husband played softball with. I brought some pictures from parties we attended at the Steel Club and he really enjoyed reminiscing. Got a good picture of him doing the hula on stage which really made him laugh. He was one of the special people you meet at work that you will never forget. RIP my friend.

We would like to express our condolences to Ray's family. Although we haven't seen Ray for over 25 years, prior to that we spent a lot of time together as coworker and friends. Ray was a special man and we were happy to have known him.

Remember Ray as the Refractory Engineer for the Plant when I came back from the USN, was a great man who shared knowledge with me. May he rest in the arms of the Angels.

I met Ray when I took a job in August driving for the Center for Vision Loss in Allentown and we hit it off immediately, such a sweet, sweet man. I was supposed to pick him up a few weeks ago and he wasn't there and that's when I heard he was hospitalized but never expected it to come to an end like this, I am deeply saddened but also know that he is now in a much better place and free from the physical issues that he had, he is fine now, just fine, but I will miss him dearly, it felt like we knew each other for years not months. It was an honor to have known him at all, I feel blessed that I got that chance; if even half the world was as half as nice and kind as he was this world would be a much better place.
God Bless you Ray, I hope to see you on the other side someday.
