Pauline F. Christensen age 92 passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Park Merced Assisted Living of natural advanced age causes.
Pauline was born August 22, 1925 in Wyoming to Ardrey and Rosetta Boyce. She had two brothers of whom are deceased. Pauline met her sweetheart Bill right before Pearl Harbor and they married on September 12, 1941. While her husband Bill served in the Air Force she graduated from Cosmetology School and worked as a beautician until she gave birth to her baby girl Arlene. After the War Pauline and Bill moved to the Family Farm and joined the Dairy business. During that time Pauline had four sons that were raised by her and her husband Bill. Pauline became an accomplished Pilot with a Twin Engine Rating and flew all over the United States during her reign as the Queen of the Flying Farmers Association. Many years later Bill and Pauline sold the Dairy Farm to the Migliazzo Family on N. Fox Road whom continues to operate it today. Pauline supported Bill in his flying career and eventually settled back to Merced. Pauline and Bill have been faithful members of the in the Yosemite Ward. Pauline is preceded in death by her husband Bill, infant daughter Arlene and son Jerry (Jan). She is survived by her sons Marvin (Lana), Edward (Dana) and Donald (Carolyn). Pauline's extended family members includes 12 grandchildren, 23 great granchildren, and 1 great great granchild. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to Pauline's Merced Family consisting of Barbara and Kent Christensen, Meagan (Rob) Pethtel, Karan and Jerry McKenzie, The Migliazzo Family, Park Merced Assisted Living, Hinds Hospice, cherished family and friends. Heaven has gained another Angel. A Memorial Service will be held at Park Merced Assisted Living, 3050 M Street to begin on Friday March 9th at 1pm.
