Juanita Marie (Bravo) Alves was born on December 26, 1937 and passed away on May 15, 2021 in San Jose, Calif. Loving wife of Robert Alves, Juanita is also survived by her children David Alves, Karen Fies and her husband Brian, Cathy Fowler and her husband Marc, and Janice Alves-Foss and her husband Jim. She was blessed with seven grandchildren: Robin and Laura Fies; Mike and Brian Fowler; and Jason, Jordan and Jesse Alves-Foss. She was 8th of 13 children and is survived by many brothers and sisters and their spouses, nephews, nieces and others in her large, close family. For 25 years, Juanita worked in and managed the cafeteria at Bret Harte Middle School. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Church with a private celebration of life to follow. Please contact the family for details.
