I am a friend of Teresa's and know how close to her father she was and how much she loved him. I wish I had met him. Sending my deepest sympathy to the family on this loss.

Papa enjoyed every moment with family, and with such a large family, there were always birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and celebrations to share. Papa would share stories from his travels or give advice to anyone interested in listening. He offered a wealth of first hand accounts. As a young girl, my first memories include typing away on his Apple computer or playing Brickles for what seemed like hours on end. I loved sitting next to him while he enjoyed a “Perfect Manhattan” and listening to his stories. For Thanksgiving we always made Papa’s stuffing recipe and he’d let me stir the gravy to get out all of the flour lumps. For Christmas, we’d head to my grandparents’ home to enjoy a festive gathering of siblings, spouses, and grandkids, and I loved to play on their grand piano. He had these two first class airplane seats that he’d gotten, from who knows where, that were perfect for airplane pretend play and watching movies on the big screen tv. These were the first first-class airline seats that I ever sat in. I’m fortunate to have had so many years to grow and learn from you, Papa. I know I’ll always be your “hunny bunch” and I’m so grateful that my son got to meet you, his Great Grand Papa. We love and miss you, and will carry on your name and legacy.
