Edward Cali Obituary
Edward was a graduate of Fremont High School, class of 1934 and Santa Clara University, class of 1938. He was President and General Manager of R. Cali & Bro. Feed, Grain & Trucking in Cupertino for over 40 years. A former member of the Board of the California Trucking Association. He was a past Planning Commissioner for the city of Cupertino, Director of First Valley Bank (formerly First National Bank of Cupertino) and Director of Gavilan Bank in Gilroy. He was also a member of the Board of Fellows of Santa Clara University. A past member of the Cupertino Lions Club, La Rinconada Country Club and De Anza Desert Country Club.
Visitation will be Wednesday March 1, 2006 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N. Winchester Blvd., Santa Clara. A Mass will be Thursday March 2nd 10:00 a.m. at Santa Clara Mission, 500 El Camino Real, Santa Clara University Campus, Santa Clara. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County or the Diocese of San Jose Education Endowment Fund.

My heart is so very heavy at the loss of your father and my 'Patron'
He was so much a part of my life and my families. Forty three years ago I came looking for work and not only did I find employment but he also housed me and my family. He was like a brother to me and will live on in my heart and in my memories.
