Eunice was a Mother to me growing up. She somehow always knew when I needed the refuge of her home. Eunice taught me about the power of faith, dignity in the face of hardship, to stand up for myself, set a proper table, and - of course - grammar. She made me feel special - the purist and most powerful gift to give an adolescent. I too will never forget her. Maggie Murray Courtney
