John (Jack) Douglas Noll
November 25, 1928 - March 19, 2021
Resident of Los Altos
Beloved and treasured father, "Grandad", great grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on March 19th after years of living with lymphatic leukemia.
Jack was born in Denver, Colorado, and he was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Jo, and by his parents Mary and Louis Noll. He is survived by his loving children: Kris (Alex) Ingram, Chuck Noll, Lorrie Noll, his adoring grandchildren: Brooke (Alex) Jigger, Tyler (Cassie) Ingram, Brayton Noll, Caitlin (Andrew) Mitchell, Connor Wood, Aidan Wood, and his great grandchildren Georgia and Jones Jigger.
A resident of Los Altos for 47 years and an active member of the St. Simon Parish Community for over 60 years. Jack volunteered his time in many community activities. He was instrumental in the growth of Silicon Valley in the field of construction management. Jack loved his family and was devoted to them in every way. He was a loyal fan and season ticket holder of the S.F. 49ers and an avid supporter of the Golden State Warriors. He loved to golf and spent his later years doing so twice a week.
Jack will be remembered for his sweet, kind and caring demeanor. He never met a stranger, and he thrived on time spent with family and friends. Jack's Celebration of Life Mass will be held Saturday, April 10th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Simon Catholic Church in Los Altos (COVID restrictions apply). Donations can be made in Jack's name to the "Jo Noll Scholarship Fund" sent to St. Simon Catholic Church, 1860 Grant Road, Los Altos, CA. 94024.
