Our beloved father, Joe, suddenly passed away on December 20th. He is survived by his 3 children: April, Michael & Angela, 8 grandchildren; sister: Carole; brother & sister-in-laws: Ray & Marlene, including many extended relatives.
Born and raised in Mt Shasta, CA. Moved to Richmond, CA in 1944, but graduated from Mt Shasta High. He served abroad in the Navy from 1948-1952. Started in the furniture industry with his father, Frank, in 1952. For the next 30 years, he was a Sales Manager, a Furniture Rep as well as President of the Home Furnishings Reps Assoc. His greatest accomplishment was General Manager and VP of the Showplace/San Francisco Design Center from 1985 thru 1993.
Married his beloved Roselie in 1955. Lived & raised their children in Atherton, Ca. Active parishioner with Church of the Nativity. Moved to San Francisco in 1991 and was active on the Finance Council for St. Theresa's Parish.
One of the biggest fans of Frank Sinatra with his own smooth dance moves. Dreamed to be a big band drummer. Passionate for golf and a teller of a good joke. Joe was dedicated, committed and respected by all whom he met.
A "Celebration of Life" will be TBD. In his memory, donations can be sent to the John Muir Health Foundation in Walnut Creek, Ca.
