Kenneth Hubert "Ken" or "Kenny" Kendall Obituary
Kenneth (Ken or Kenny) Hubert Kendall
November 10, 1962 - May 5, 2018
Resident of Morgan Hill
Kenneth Hubert Kendall, affectionately referred to by friends and family as Ken or Kenny, died suddenly from natural causes on Saturday, May 5th, 2018. Ken touched so many lives with his big heart, sunny smile, bear hugs and willingness to help others.
Ken was born in San Jose, CA., grew up in Morgan Hill and graduated from Live Oak High School. He then went on to earn his Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from San Jose State University. Ken worked for decades in the defense and communications industry, winning awards and accolades for a job well done as well as operating his own construction and remodeling business.
Ken volunteered much of his time to his community and church. He was a well-loved leader in Boy Scout Troop 730, Morgan Hill, used his construction skills in the Rebuilding Together Santa Clara program, helped with his daughter's American Heritage Girls troop and assisted in the remodeling of his church, Morgan Hill Bible. His greatest accomplishments were his role as a devoted father and husband, a heart attack and cancer survivor, and most importantly a steadfast man of God. He enjoyed camping every year with his family and friends as well as sports with his children, often filling the role of coach. These last roles will be what he is remembered for the most for those who knew him best.
Ken is preceded in death by his father, Rex Brand Kendall, his son Jeremy Patrick Kendall, his mother, Donna Mae Kendall, and brother-in-law, Michael Burgess. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Mary Anne Kendall; devoted children Lisa Marie Flores of Gustine, Shane Kendall, Hannah Kendall and Cameron Kendall, all of Morgan Hill, and grandchildren David Rivera, Elijah Caswell and Audrey Caswell, all of Gustine. He is also survived by his sister, Colette Burgess of Rancho Bernardo, CA.
Friends and Family are invited to a Visitation Friday, May 18, 2018 from 2:00 P.M. - 4:30 P.M. at LIMA-CAMPAGNA-JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME, 17720 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill. Memorial Service Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Morgan Hill Bible Church, 15055 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill, CA. 95037.
