LeRoy Kratzer

KRATZER, LeRoy (Roy)-- 76, of Los Altos. Died peacefully at home October 16, 2002. Loving husband of Venice and loving father of Captain Kel (Anne) Kratzer of Oklahoma; Arn (Karen) Kratzer of Hollister, Dori (Joe) Hampl of Florida, Heidi (Pat) Kratzer of Oregon; Lee (Lisa) Kratzer of Mountain View, Tay (Irina) Kratzer of Utah and Kea Kratzer of San Ramon. Beloved grandfather of 19 grandchildren. A native of Salt Lake City, Utah. A veteran of WWII.
Roy worked with Lockheed as an Engineer for 12 years, then with Foothill College as Dean of Computer Science for 22 years. Active in the Boy Scouts of America for over 50 years. Active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all his life and served in many leadership positions.
Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Monday 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 190 Jordan Ave., Los Altos. Funeral service will be Monday at 12 Noon at the Church. Burial will follow at Alta Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto. Arrangements by WYANT AND SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, SUNNYVALE.
