The Memorial Service will be held at St Charles Church in San Carlos on May 25th at 11:00am.
Marlene was born on January 8, 1933 in Sydney, Nebraska to Edwin and Veronica Chaon. She moved to California with her family when she was young. She grew up in San Anselmo and graduated from Tamalpais High School. She married Ray Sieker and together they raised four children. She worked as a bookkeeper and eventually received her BS in accounting from the University of San Francisco.
Marlene was full of life. She was a devoted SF Giant fan! She also enjoyed gardening, cooking, crossword puzzles, and playing bridge. Marlene will always be remembered for her warm smile, generous heart and love of family.
Marlene will be forever cherished by her daughters Debra Davis, Darcie Gorman and Lisa Sieker, son Todd Sieker, son-in-laws, Jake Davis and Dan Miller, 8 grandchildren, Justin, Noelani, and Greg Davis, Thomas and Lindsey Gorman, Brittany Lansing, Tyler and Jasmine Miller, and 4 great grandchildren, brothers Vern and Ed Chaon and sister Yvonne Dahl. Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sieker and her brother, Gene Chaon, and sister Ruth Crippes.
